Presentation

The system is intended to equip class II compartmentalized wagons type 2049, modernized by SC CFR SIRV BRAŞOV SA.

The system implements an automation network in the wagon, composed of a series of programmable logic controllers interconnected via serial transmission (CANopen protocol), thus creating a vehicle bus.
Using this type of protocol, the network can be expanded by introducing additional equipment with the same type of communication.

System functions:

• control of various electrical installations (heating, ventilation, lighting, intercom doors, etc.)
• receiving and processing various analog signals (battery voltage, charging current, single-phase system voltage values, compartment temperatures, etc.)
• signaling the operating and fault states of the electrical installations on the wagon
• taking over diagnostic data from the wagon installations and displaying them

The system is integrated by redesigning the electrical installation and the electrical panel, which is also carried out by SC TEHMIN-BRAŞOV SRL.
