Electrical panel with automatic multiple control system and Tehmin diagnosis for A900 type automobiles

Presentation
The system is intended to equip the 900 series railcars, modernized by SC MARUB SA Braşov and SC PETROUTILAJ SA Câmpina.
The system ensures:
- Diesel engine start, stop and acceleration control
- control of reversing, sanding, gearbox and lighting
- taking over operating data from the engine and gearbox control units
- multiple control operation of three vehicles for A900 railcar
A J1939 network was implemented for engine and gearbox control.
The vehicle bus is CANopen, and the train bus is also CAN communication.
To control the reversing process, information about the speed of travel is taken from the vehicle's speedometer. For this purpose, an RS485/RS232 communication was used.
The mechanic can monitor the operating parameters of the vehicle/vehicles using a 5.7", 1/4 VGA LCD display.
The automation system was integrated by redesigning the electrical installation, the electrical panel and the control panels, but also by their implementation by SC TEHMIN-BRAŞOV SRL.
