GI A900 is a system designed to heat the air in the passenger compartments of the 900 series railcar during winter. As an energy source, GI A900 uses the heat energy of the coolant in the Diesel engine system.
The GI A900 can operate in winter mode when the air is heated, or in summer mode, when the air is ventilated.
GI A900 consists of two heat exchangers with forced air circulation and a piping system equipped with discharge slots.
