The product is intended for heating the air in the driver's station of 700 and 1000 series railcars.

The installation is mounted in the engine control station, at the bottom, under the control panel. It is equipped with a 24Vdc electric fan, which receives power from the existing electrical circuit.

The installation is designed so that warm air is directed both into the driver's seat and onto the front windows.
