The system is intended for equipping series 79 trailer railcars, modernized by SC REMARUL 16 FEBRUARIE SA Cluj.

The system ensures:

• Diesel engine start, stop and acceleration control
• control of reversing, sanding, gearbox and lighting
• retrieving operating data from engine and gearbox control units
• multiple control operation of two or more vehicles

Also, the classic Diesel engine acceleration control system, known as the "sterghelet", which provides step-by-step speed control, has been replaced with a regulator that allows linear engine speed control. This regulator also provides overspeed protection for the Diesel engine.
The vehicle bus is CANopen, and the train bus is also a CAN communication.
The mechanic can monitor the operating parameters of the vehicle/vehicles using a monochrome display.

The automation system was integrated by redesigning the electrical installation of the electrical panel and control panels, but also by their construction by SC TEHMIN-BRAŞOV SRL.
