Presentation
The system is intended to equip the wagon frame modernized by SC ELECTROPUTERE VFU SA Paşcani.
A frame contains 4 carriages, one first class and three second class.
The system implements a frame automation network, composed of the vehicle bus (CAN network, CANopen protocol) and the train bus (WTB network, according to UIC556).
For redundancy, two train bus nodes were introduced. The control part ensures the control of the lighting, the minimum voltage relay (protection against battery discharge when the static source no longer works), the reception and processing of various analog signals (battery voltage, charging current, three-phase system voltage values, etc.), as well as the control of the passenger information system (information for the interior and exterior displays). The diagnostic part provides data about the controlled systems and collects diagnostic data from various subsystems (air conditioning, access doors, etc.).
The diagnostic data of all wagons in a frame or coming from another frame is transmitted to a ground-based receiving system via WLAN.
WLAN transmission is also used to set the Pager Information System (PIS) on trains undergoing wagon overhaul for preparation.
The system is integrated by redesigning the electrical installation and the electrical panel, which are also carried out by SC TEHMIN-BRAŞOV SRL.
