Presentation:
Fixed source, ensures the charging and maintenance of the accumulator batteries equipping the railway vehicles, when they are stationed in the depot for a longer period.
It is mounted next to the locomotive's electrical heating system (IEMC) or in the apparatus block on the locomotive or railcar.
The power supply is from the single-phase 230V, 50-60 Hz electrical network which can be taken from the terminal board for supplying the IEMC with a voltage of 3x400 Vac+ N or separately from an external 230V ac socket.
