– Provides electrical energy to power the auxiliary services of the locomotive
– Operates the compressor to supply air to the braking system
– Ensures ventilation of the diesel engine radiator, in two stages
– Supplies 24 Vdc voltage to the electrical equipment on the railcar
– Ensures charging of the battery from the electric generator while driving and from an external 230Vac socket when the vehicle is parked.
– Implements a “MAN-MACHINE” interface in both driving positions of the railcar
– Transmits data collected by the diagnostic system to the ground for real-time analysis by maintenance personnel
– Provides the geographical coordinates and speed of the railcar
– Increases the availability of the railcar by increasing reliability;
– Reduces maintenance labor consumption to a minimum;
– Reduces energy consumption for driving auxiliary services;
– Allows real-time monitoring of the technical status of the system by operation and maintenance personnel;
– Does not require maintenance materials;
– Reducing diesel consumption by optimizing the operation of auxiliary services;
– Reduces pollution by reducing the consumption of diesel and other petroleum products (oils).

* The system is also completed with a web page application, which allows viewing and interpreting recorded data with a time stamp.

* The electric drive system of the auxiliary services replaced their hydraulic drive system.
