The project consists of developing a Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP) system for controlling power electronic converters, integrated into existing stands in the Power Electronics Laboratory for Renewable Energy Sources (Institute for Research and Development ICDT – L4, Transilvania University of Brasov).

The system includes:

• Hardware component: analog input interfaces with analog-to-digital converters (ADC); analog output interfaces with digital-to-analog converters (DAC); digital input/output (I/O) interfaces; Ethernet, USB, CAN communication interfaces; specific interfaces for electric drives.
• Software component: software package for real-time monitoring and parameterization of program variables running in the digital unit; virtual oscilloscope for viewing signals from the code; exporting signals in various digital forms; possibility of online parameterization of variables through the laboratory's internet network.
• System housing

This acquisition aims to increase the degree of digitalization of the laboratory and improve the results obtained from teaching and research activities.
